SCOTT BRUCE

Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

Life brings moments of joy, moments of pain, and the unexpected turns in between. When those moments feel overwhelming or disorienting, it helps to have someone beside you who can offer steadiness, curiosity, and room to breathe and reflect. You are the expert in your own experience. My role is to provide a safe space where you can explore it with respect, openness, and a grounded presence so you can reconnect with yourself and the people you love.

I work with couples and individuals using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an experiential approach that helps people understand their emotional patterns, strengthen connection, and create lasting change. In our work together, we slow down, tune into what matters most, and build the safety needed for healing, growth, and deeper connection both within yourself and in your relationships.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by change, resilience, loss, recovery, and the quiet joy found in moments of clarity. These experiences deepen my appreciation for our shared humanity and the incredible capacity people have to heal, transform, and thrive.

Outside the therapy room, I have two grown children who are beacons of light in my life. I find joy and balance in nature, kayaking, drumming, and meditation. My career started in a world of tangible building blocks - in architecture, engineering, and construction. In the past decade, I transitioned to more metaphysical building blocks, as an Organizational and Relationship Systems Coach for leaders and agile teams in technology across multiple industries.
